Lamar Middle School and Fine Arts Academy is a middle school serving 6th-8th grades in the AISD system.  It is located at 6201 Wynona Ave in north central Austin near the intersection of Koenig and Burnet. The principal is George Llewellyn, and the assistant principals are Andrew Bennett and Judith Berrean.

8th Grade Field Trip

We WILL be headed to Six Flags on Friday, May 11th rain or shine. 8th graders attending the field trip should bring a change of clothes due to the threat of incliment weather. Please check back here for updates.

Martes, 29 de Mayo 2012 con nuestra Primera Ceremonia Anual de Avance.
 La transición de la escuela intermedia a la preparatoria es un momento
muy emocionante para los estudiantes. ¡Vengan a celebrar con nosotros!

Lamar Middle School will be honoring our 8th graders on Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 with our first annual Advancement Ceremony. Transitioning from Middle School to High School is an exciting milestone for students.  Come celebrate with us! Please dress business casual (both students and adults) and recognize our fine 8th Grade Graduates.
